"Frescobol" racket set, Printworks
In 1945, architect Lian Pontes de Carvalho invented the racket game with the appealing name "Frescobol." The idea was to create a Brazilian equivalent of tennis, but without the competitiveness. Instead of winning at all costs, the essence of this game is cooperation. There are no winners or losers; the only goal is to keep the ball in the air together for as long as possible. This set includes two easy-to-grip rackets with elegant wooden handles and a colorful ball for continued game enjoyment. A handy striped cloth bag is also included for carrying the rackets.
